National Committee for Standardization Technical pigment paint and paint branch(TC5/SC8) is the competent administrative department of the state standard of thepigment. Mainly in charge of the pigment field standardization of technical management, the main tasks of formulating and revising standards organization ofpigment; as technical support with countries to develop standardization work principles and policies; according to the development of industry organization in the field of the establishment of standard system table of standard for review regularly; confirmation;participate in international standardization activities of pigment, pigment internationalthe standard position, tracking and analysis; the standards implementation training;standard sample development distribution.
At present, China's paint standards adopted international standards adoption rate is about 59%, much higher levels of adopting standard test method. Transformation ofcounterpart international standard rate of 46%, failed to translate into Chinesestandard is mainly some pigment dispersion of standard and evaluation method anddispersion method standard.
